Being a tit I didn't switch Garmin off at end of ride but does anyone know if you can edit the ride and crop it?
Have looked in the edit option but couldn't see anything.
Strava allows this option

Did this the other week & couldn't find a way to do it on the Garmin site.
If you upgrade to premium on Strava you can export the GPX & load that up to Garmin I guess. I wasn't that bothered though.
If you find a way let me know.
I had 5 roadie KOM's between Delamere & Chester in the car before feeling obliged to crop the ride.

I had a KOM that must have pissed some roadies off coming home from my last visit to the Long Mynd after forgetting to turn my strava off........ I'm guessing someone tried that hard to regain their title and failed that they eventually complained to the powers that be to get it removed ;D

If your Garmin software can export a gpx, Sportypal.com will import it, crop it, and allow you to edit or delete waypoints from the route. You can then re-export the edited gpx and back into Garmin? I've used this to edit routes on Strava when my phone gps has lost lock and moved me to central Africa halfway past Cowlyd. Can remove the offending dodgy waypoints and get your route back. It's free as well
