Well my first Dyfi and I have to admit it was tough it felt like 99% uphill but it was awesome and having a beer now to celebrate completing it. Thanks Summittoppler for the lift and the crack as well as some banter from new bikers. A few pics will follow one I get the energy

A tough day out in the Dyfi Forest today. Where the organisers find all the climbs I'll never know but it's a well organised event. A good number of MBNW crew were out and some good times were had from the initial banter afterwards. The last third was a killer but managed to make it back eventually. Not sure if I would have done any better if I hadn't bumped into Matt in a boozer in town the night before but will never know. Now then Gareth, I think the pub session made us quicker if anything. Preperation is key!

4hrs 30mins 0secs. 335th out of 336 for the route and 138th out of 138 in the old farts cat.
This was for the long route which I think means I was in top 350 at the split or I took a wrong turn. Feeling the effects today

Some excellent results in amongst that lot, well done. Still didn't miss doing it though Notice Oggy came in 61st, looks like all that training is paying off, good time too Oggster

I followed all signs and ended up doing long route...did you pass me before the split? Like Tarbo says some good times and Oggy's training has clearly paid off...well done

I was puzzling where I passed you as I couldn't remember doing so, in fact last time I saw you was up top on the moor when you were about 50 metres ahead of me. I guess I must have remained behind you by about 30 or so places and just missed the split by mere minutes.

Ha, love the picture, although I was in a bad place on that climb, I could barely walk never mind ride it! How embarrassing!
