Just tried to clear out a stack of 5 old bike tyres at Ruthin recycling centre among other things, but they wouldn't accept them because "we don't have the right licence to recycle them". Do any of the bike shops around accept for recycling? What does everyone else do with them? When it's the odd one I've usually just binned them but 5 at once I feel I should be doing it properly...
Failing that, is anyone looking for some old 26" tyres for a hack bike. All have some wear left, but not really saleable.
