coud be worth seeing a physio, i have used a good one if you want to go down that road. They will diagnose and pin point the problem and get you sorted
Wouldnt worry to much at the minute, knee pain can be a weird thing, ive had periods of really bad knee pain that last a few weeks then all of a sudden it disappears as fast as it arrived.

It's age bud I used to have dodgy knees for a good while following a coast to coast ride I did a few years back. What done it for me was a daily dose of Gloucasomine Sulphate (or something like that). However I'd do as Oggy says and get a physio to have a good look, that way you know what the issue is, if any.

Sounds like a similar or the same pain I had a while ago and basically cured it by resting it. Reckon the cause was most likely ill fitted cleats on the road-bike at first and then the pain transferred itself onto the MTB too. Have since fiddled with the cleat positions on the road-bike (but don't ride it as often) and got it a lot better and kicked the cleats into touch completely on the MTB and ride flats. The pain was quite excruciating and forced me to ride with my good leg for a bit and let the sore one dangle! Tightening the cleats will have probably reduced the bit of float you had prior.

Definalty worth taking them, ive been taking one of these for the past year or so www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/glucosamine-sulphate/10529424.htmlit wont cure your current pain but as a preventitive long term method of helping you joints i carnt see it does any harm

I've been taking Glucosamine sulphate for years, the doctor advised me to take it, he said it builds up the cartilage around the joints. I buy them in home bargains £2.99 for 90 tablets.

Try Simply Supplements Web site; good prices, quality stuff. Been using them for years. I take glucosamine and vit C; Fish oil; and Ginseng and Biloba. Can still manage core strength exercises !!!

I had that pain last year- one of the cleats was slightly out of the right position- I've got to say it was the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. rested it for 2 weeks and tried again, no better , Went to see Tony Jones in Llandudno (physio) sorted it straight away, Gave up the Look cleats and went onto SPDs though. no probs since.
