OK chaps and chap'esis in keeping with MBNW tradition its time to ask the end of year question:
Its that time of year to look back at what we've achieved biking wise and pick out those 'magic' moments.
Despite the forum looking 'pretty quiet' I'm sure you've had some great days out in the saddle, so c'mon lets hear your 2016 memories.
So whether its a first ride, the getting your mojo back moment, a magical bike tour, fixing your first puncture or a dirty weekend way, lets hear your highlights from 2016.

A linear ride from Hayfield to Hope via Mount Famine, Rushop Edge and Hollins Cross. Nothing spectacular, but great Peak District riding in fab weather and with good company. We got the train back from Hope to New Mills and then peddled back to Hayfield along the Sett Valley trail in full dark with no lights!

The highlight for me was doing my first sportive on the continent, the 189km.Ronde Picard around the Somme area, starting from Abbeyville. Another achievement was doing and finishing the Wild Wales Challenge... never to be repeated, an absolute killer!

Organised a charity ride along the Sarson trail in Wiltshire. Normal route is from Avebury stone circle to Stonehenge but we did it the other way around as it is more challenging that way with the hills coming towards the end. 29 miles long, started fairly flat on dirty roads, a mile or 2 on single lane tarmac followed by lots of bridalway and single track with some serious climbs thrown in. 16 riders who all enjoyed the day and raised a few hundred £ for the chosen charity. Finished with a few beers in a cracking pub.

4 replies?!? Really! So I take it the G Zillion who are registered here don't ride their bike any more? *Mods* Delete the lot and then see who we have return! Bloddy shame as this has been a great resource and it still can be for years to come!!
Without you guys posting on the forum kills the forum. So if you do ride, then why not post what you're up. This has been a fantastic forum in the past but without members posting is just killing it. And I'd hate to see the past posts wiped out because you can't be arsed.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Post your rides!!
