It all waymarked and really easy to follow, you don't really need the maps to get roud it but sometimes it helps to get your bearings. Some cracking views of snowdondia at the end section of loop2. If you just want to do loop 2 it's earier to park at the lane where the loop 2 arrow point on the top map.

Well, we're not the fastest riders in the world and have never done both loops together but i would guess you can easily get round in two to three hours. We tend to pick the best sections on a ride rather than do the whole lot, usually it's around 2 hours.
Mbwales marks it at 22km distance.

How did your ride go on Sunday Dyls. When I got back to my car, yours was parked next to mine. Can't remember seeing it so busy. Me and James did loop 1 and 2. Thought it was a lot more 'worn' than last time I rode there. Some bits were a bit hairy Really enjoyed it, just hope no one repairs it

Yeah I wasn't sure whether the car was yours Dave.
We also did loop 1 & 2 and really enjoyed it - there were cars parked over the road when we set off around 12:15, never seen so many vehicles there.

Do you have a sat nav reference to get to the car park, or as close as possible? Thanks

I you just put penmachno in your sat nav it will take you to the village centre from the A5, just follow the road throug the village, take the right & left turn as shown at the end of the brown road . If you drive more than 500 yds out of the village on the yellow road you have missed it but you will see the forest on the right hand side Here you go, the car park is just a forest track on the right hand side going up to a gate, Dont forget your cash donation in the honesty box www.multimap.com/s/irNzTu2V
