Trying to come Sunday! Got to sort out a bike rack as only got a little ford KA lol!! Ordered body armour now, just as a precaution lol! So expert are you.... You can pick me up when I fall then!!bloke the inclusion of pub in the ride!! X

Welcome. I am a recent convert to MTB and everyone on here has been really supportive....I am still a novice though  The forum rides are great and from the sounds of it fitness won't be a problem. This Sunday will be great way to get in to it and as others have said you just don't ride anything you don't fancy. You'll find others will coach you and help you develop. Get stuck in ;D |

Thankyou all again or making me feel so welcome and all being well I hope to meet you on Sunday! Coaching and mentoring may be required - all in exchange for either a flapjack or fitness advice!
Is there any essential kit needed apart from the obvious helmet etc x

Hi Anna, Welcome  Fitness advice will be gratefully received, I expect I shall be tail end Charlie, make sure nobody is left behind and helping out with any offs &, punctures, but I'm crap at mechanicals, happy to give any hints & tips along the way, hope your bringing a big bag to carry all the flapjack your going to need. |

Is there any essential kit needed apart from the obvious helmet etc x Only eyelash extensions so you can flutter them at any male member in the event of a puncture or any other technical problem. Always works Bring some food, lightweight raincoat if the weather looks changeable, couple of spare tubes, basic tools. If you haven't got all or any of the above don't worry, the other members will help you out if you get stuck. The only essential requirement apart from your helmet is a sense of humour ;D Welcome aboard! |

Hi Anna, There's a couple of us going over to Cilcain ( see here for a ride tmrw evening, I'm in Rhyl so if you fancy joining us I could pick you up en-route? The ride we'll be doing tmrw isn't too technical/severe - I'm sure you'll be fine. If you read the thread don't be put off by Kev's (Yetiman) lingo, he's from them there hills! |
