Gutted!! Its going to take a lot of excitement away from this years tour, going to miss his attacks in the mountain stages, theres no one else whos got the class or guts to attack like he does in the mountains, well maybe Chris Froome can carry on where he left off , dont rate Wiggins + the Schlecks do too much messing around.

Cheat. End of..... Why should someone who takes performance enhancing drugs be allowed to compete. Imagine training all your life for something and it being taken away from someone who cheats. Its like stealing. Showed in last years tour he wasn't good enough without the gear. Go Bar's and some gels are enough for everyone else..... ;D

:-/Sad day for the sport My opinion is that it was a contaminated blood transfusion taken out of season and replaced during an Alpine stage Now let the sport move on

He's a cheat plain and simple. Can't believe Andy Schleck is not seething with anger over this, Contador only won it because Schleck dropped his chain so for me he's a double cheat .

Maybe there was a reason why he could mount those attacks

What annoys me is that the 2 year ban is retrospective from Sept 2010. So he's clear to compete from Sept 2012. He may be stripped of his wins, but it still means he's only out for 6 months

I dislike the bloke but I also feel for him a bit. It's not like he's the only one doing it, they all do it to an extent. Look at the Schlecks, a 7000 euro payment to the notorious Dr Fuentes for "coaching" and then there's Cadel winning the tour last year, matching the Schlecks up Alpe d'Huez!! I'm afraid it's just a case of who has the best chemist but that doesn't detract from the spectacle for me. A topical piece of news as I'm about to start reading David Millar's book- Racing Through The Dark.
