Starting to get exited and nervous about this weekends race at coedy. How are the rest of the mbnw lot getting on? Well if the constant Strava reports I keep getting in my inbox of certain individuals is anything to go by, I'd say MBNW will be some serious opposition!! Looking forward to the reports & pics. though as I might fancy some of it myself next year (if I'm fit enough )

Starting to get exited and nervous about this weekends race at coedy. How are the rest of the mbnw lot getting on? Excitement, no.....Trepidation having done no training, yes Although I'm hanging on to the belief that I ride downhill much better when I hit it blind...... pathetic training plan I know! In fact I've only ridden CYB once in the last 12 months on Ken's xmas combo forum ride Bring it on then all you secret trainers!

Starting to get exited and nervous about this weekends race at coedy. How are the rest of the mbnw lot getting on? Having trouble getting fired up for this and not really put in enough training , hoping on the day my competitive side kicks in . Bit disappointed after reports from first round that times between stages had no effect on overall positions . This to me just makes it 5 individual downhillish stages and not really what I thought I was signing up for . But on saying that lets hope the sun comes out to play and let the fun begin . See you Saturday

Not particularly nervous about it, slightly disappointed with the trails used but hey ho! I think it will still be a good event and hoping to improve on the first round. Going to see how this round goes with timings before I commit another £60 to the shredder, if they get it sorted this round then I'm in on Eastridge & Dyfi. Catch you all on Saturday for seeding

Good luck lads, not that most of you need it. Looking forward to the reports and some good results Would have loved to have joined you but have a prior appointment with a swimming pool, TT bike and a pair of running shoes over in Harlech on Sunday

I'm excited & nervous, wondering what the weekend will bring... If nothing else it gave me the perfect excuse to upgrade my stem and pedals I'll be riding the whole thing blind, having only been there once for an off piste ride, and expect to have a few near misses along the way ;D Hope the weather is kind to us. I read that the time given between stages is going to be more generous in this round to help prevent the timing cock up happening again.

Well today was nice and dry, tomorrow.....................well Weather Turning wet and windy at the start of the day with heavy rain accompanied by northeasterly winds gusting to gale force at times. The rain willl fall as sleet or snow above 300 metres, settling above 500-600 metres (possibly giving 5-10cm). Snow generally returning to rain by the evening, but possibly still wintry in nature over the summits. Maximum winds above 500m North Easterly 70 mph. Should be fun

Don't know how it'll go for me tomorrow. Had a hard 'off' on my last practice run and landed on a rock with my thigh and have a piece of bone floating around my elbow I will however turn up tomorrow as I'm too tight to waste £60 and I may have struck a deal on a shiny new HT frame ;D from the lovely guys from Stanton. Sat on the sofa with thigh strapped up with an ice pack and can't bend knee properly, however I did get back up the hill and put a tentative seeding run in of 3m 10s so quite pleased with that. Can't remember what every one else done. Does anyone know where the online seeding results and start times for tomorrow are???
