Decided to do a non-stop lap of Penmachno 1&2 today and managed a 2:18:43, 10 minutes slower than last year's best time. I'd like to add a "wet trail" tag to the end of that like they do on Top Gear, but unfortunately Penmachno's always wet, so I have no real excuse for a time that was 10 minutes slower than last year's best time.... apart from that that was in August so I must have been fitter.
I see someone has chopped down Rallybiker's favourite tree on the north shore section - did you take a chainsaw yesterday Aled?

At last , that tree's disappeared, what a difference that makes to the Northshore! ;D

have been riding 3 or 4 times a week with some pretty stiff hill walks (training for the welsh 3000's) for the last 5 weeks think its paying off . makes a massive difference to your flow and rythem when you ride withouit stoping for sarnies suspension and saddle alterations . subject to work commitments Llandegla next friday afternoon

Great time up the Marin Today whilst the kids were at a skills training day @ Nant BH Thought i would get my first wave of the year in as Llandegla still has diversions in place but the marin is now fully open again with no diversion at the top of the Hafna climb ;D Managed to shave a few seconds off last years time and did it in 1hr 26m 50 seconds Heres the garmin connect.garmin.com/activity/78359880Was nice to see The Mbnw crowd out today too, few faces i havnt seen for a while too Had lunch after that and then went round again for a socialable lap to finish a cracking day off before picking the childern up and heading home Catch you next time
