Was up at Llandegla this evening and wasn't really planning a wave, but the trails were just begging to be ridden flat out - everything is as dry as I think I've ever seen it up there. This is a time for the red only without JJ's (including "the twins" loop though which is now open as Dan says):
57:31 (climb to big Berm 20:48)
I think the overall lap was my fastest ever, but the climb is a minute or so off the best pace. I think the I might have got a few dirty looks from all the people out for a gentle pootle and a fatboy barbie :-)

All sections are now fully open at Degla after the harvesting on the JJ's section, not as bad as I thought it was going to be, the only tree loss is at the top of the little climb leading up to the black bridge and is only about a 500 yard section Was on course for a decent full wave but the bloody phone rang and I had to take the call therefore I will put a marker up of 1h 23m 42s should of been 1:19:00 oh well always next week ;D www.endomondo.com/workouts/oiWr_DYSki0Nice1, I've really missed that section as most people have a good moan about the short sharp climb but I've always liked it I can't wait to get home next Wed and give it a good going over.......stir crazy out ere at sea with all the good weather I've missed, however, they do call me the rainman back home so expect everywhere to be boggy by the weekend after next

Trails still quite dry at Llandegla tonight, if anything they're more grippy than a couple of weeks ago now they've had a bit of rain to damp them down. Set myself a personal best for the red/black (no JJ) of 1:11:45 Previous best time was 1:17, so quite pleased with that. Must be getting faster downhill because it wasn't a PB at 20:30 for the uphill

Meant to put this up last week but forgot. Had a couple of hours to go for a ride so went for another wave up llandegla. Started off well and set a new personal best for the climb - 19m 23s so I was well chuffed! Carried on down and it was flowing well. Did parallel universe, up the fireroad climb, over the high northshore thingy then down the next black. At the 1st switchback disaster struck and the rear cable broke so it was stuck in 9th gear - Gutted! Tried to do as much of the remaining climbs in that gear, but had to resort to a bit of pushing. I had intended on doing jj's too but didnt bother after the cable broke. Managed to ride all the rest from the Twins loop in 9th/18th/27th gears and still set a personal best for me of 1hr 10m 30s. Just still gutted the cable snapped. Heres the data - connect.garmin.com/activity/83233659

Rode the MBR at CYB for the first time at the weekend (on the Meta 6). Much respect to Ken for his wave times Would have to use the carbon hardtail to get anywhere near that but fear both the bike and myself will end up broken?

Yet again my riding time has been a bit limited to riding in the morning straight after a nightshift so I tried another wave again. Legs wernt in it, felt like crap but did llandegla red/blk including jj's. Small diversion which i think is probably a bit slower than the original route. 20/05/11 1hr 15m 50s Heres the data connect.garmin.com/activity/86761433

Landegla Black/Red no jjs
As Pauleds mentioned diversion on the red which is a bit longer so will try again when removed but did black/red no jjs in 1:15 and 22 sec
No Garmin but first time I have taken a stopwatch rather than my minute hand so hoping to improve which I guess thats what its all about.
