That is one serious helm, I reckon a few people are going to want the make and model of Russ's Helmet so they can try and beat that bad boy ;D
Dave yours is good but your have been totally over shadowed by the Wog on Russ

Davydonn, it has to be said you are a true master of the 'sinewave'. We've previously enjoyed a couple of your entries for this classic style that you've made your own, but this is the tidiest example yet, with some very intricate layering over the centre ridge. If there was an award for 'Best Kept Helm', and there very well could be (in a desperate attempt to palm off my vhs collection) then this would be a contender. A marvellous effort that you should be very proud of. I've checked the guidebook and there's currently no classification for Russ's entry. The closest match I can find is the 'Atlantic Force 10' but this beast is far superior in it's sheer dramatic splendour. This could well be one of the most fantastically awesome and technically accomplished helmet heads i've ever seen in my life. I salute you Russ. That baby reeks of trophy... so far, but its still early days! We'll have to dig deep to top Russ's top, but don't be discouraged about sending your entries in, for every helmet head is a little miracle, a triumph to behold, and out there somewhere... still lurking undiscovered underneath someone's sweaty, dark lid... is the ULTIMATE helm! All we have to do is find it

Some truly inspirational words there, Arnie I do think it will be tough to beat Russ' entry but there's still almost 8 months worth of helmet head to go...

Did Russ bring his hairdresser with him for that creation, as I reckon he has the new 2010 summer season look, all he neeeds is a black string vest a leather jacket some chains and doc martins & turned up jeans. ;D

Ady, you need to get out more, you are obviously spending too much time in the Blue Oyster Bar.

The latest addition to the cranium creations is this masterpiece. Lovingly has been styled by the wafting tendrils of soft breezes that are uniquely found at the Nant yr Arian trail centre. This stunning bouffant, sternly modelled by our own Oggy, I am certain stands a fighting chance in this years challenge!

why is Russ not on the voting list? Because the poll is for 2009, Russ is a hot contender for the 2010 Helm of the year Award
