Since I was billy no mates this morning I decided to attempt my first willy wave round the Marin Had to rush out of the car park to beat a mini-bus full of newbies onto the first section. Annoyingly there is still a diversion half way up the first climb, and just by the last climb, which means my route was 14.29 miles. However, I managed it in 1 hr 57 mins, including a banana stop ;D so I'm really chuffed. Turned out the group of newbies were actually Gurkhas, so maybe the thought of being chased through Gwydyr forest by a group of knife-wielding soldiers was all the motivation I needed ;D ;D

Woohoo!!!...just knocked 25 minutes off my time for the Brenig/Alwen Loop ;D ;D ;D. I did stop now and again last time to take some photos . Went round today in 1 hour 23 mins . (Started at 13:46 - Finished at 15:09). Temperature up there about 18 degC. Drying out quite nicely now...just a few patches of mud.

Thought I'd better give it a go today . Full Marin ignoring diversions (sorry FCwales) , bit of a shock when I came across them working on a Saturday afternoon . Time 1.46.37, Ragley Piglet ,easier on the climbs for me this time of year .
