Did the Marin on New Years eve with JB. It was minus 6°C. My fingers nearly fell off!! Great wintery scenery though.

Pretty cold for my ongoing run of bad luck with punctures!!! The Dragon's Tail was brilliant, even if it did wreck my inner tube!!

The trail Monkeys have been busy on the Marin and its better than its been for a long time especially the begining of the Dragons Tail. I had a great ride on Sunday.

When I was up there a few weeks ago some maintenance had been done to the trail - it was getting bad in some places.

When I was up on the Marin on Sat Morning, was heading down the last section at some speed, and had to jam on the anchors cause a fallen tree was blocking the path!! Hopefully it will be removed soon!!

Did the Marin on the 24th,(sweltering heat !) to try out my new Maxxis Minion 2.35 DH sticky. Shattered!,Unbelievable drag! Had to cut out the top loop! . Needless to say, stripped off the Minion!! Just taken delivery of a 2.10 Maxxis ADvantage, thats gone on now, so we'll give it another go after I arrive back from my Holyhead-Cardiff sponsor cycle ride.. . I'll use the Minion at Newborough forest - handy for the traction!
