Not long to go now, so time to firm up the plans Looking at the route upto Llandegla I think B&Q Wrexham would be a good place to meet. 0630 meet for a 0645 start. This should afford us a steady pace to Rhyl and still have time to refuel before the main event at 0930. Anyone else got any other preference? List from Wrexham: mtbman simoult steve davies dsmith & son Meeting at Ruthin: Davydon Tarbo Anyone else taking part in the 30mile rhyl circuit, we'll meet you at the start line Where abouts in Ruthin are we meeting up? Dave, pm me your moby and I'll ring you when we're near.

Fantastic news - well done everyone in getting such good sponsorhip for this event! I've mapped out the route from Dyserth to Rhuthun then into Rhyl and back to Dyserth... maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=dyserth&daddr=B5429+to:Ruthin,+Clwyd,+United+Kingdom+to:East+Parade,+Rhyl+to:Dyserth,+Rhyl&geocode=FVZJLQMdNN7L_ykhZU76fSllSDFmVtWFgFvT3A%3BFYLqKwMdzN_M_w%3BFUV4KgMdZIHN_ylH-uBtDjFlSDFhXsYEiwuWKg%3B%3BFVZJLQMdNN7L_ykhZU76fSllSDFmVtWFgFvT3A&hl=en&mra=ls&sll=53.316518,-3.46138&sspn=0.029534,0.090551&ie=UTF8&ll=53.241386,-3.291092&spn=0.23669,0.724411&z=11(The link doesn't work properly, so if you're interested copy and paste the entire section above) This doesn't include the 30 mile loop of the event itself. Looks like it's closer to 70 miles than 60 but hey, it's still not a patch on the 100 or so the Wrexham folks are doing Over £600 - I can't beleieve it Really looking forward to this now...

Thanks for the reminder Dave about us Wrexham folk Today is my relaxation day in preparation for Sunday. I have the day off and it's to Chester Races this afternoon - I may just have a couple of shandys It's ace news about the money we have all raised - I also have some further offline donations (£75-£100). I will give the exact figure to Phil tomorrow so he can add it to the webpage. A big thanks to all the donators and see all the riders on Sunday - really looking forward to it (in a way!).

I've also got about another £100 offline but don't know how to add it on to our sponsorship page. I've roped Gavin in to bike with me so I won't hold you all up cause I know you've got a long way to bike back home!

Does anyone know the actual route for the sponsored ride? I rode most of it this afternoon - thought I'd go for a recce From Rhyl to Prestatyn then along the Prestatyn - Dyserth Way to Dyserth. Dyserth down to Rhuddlan, then the 15 miler splits off along the river path back to Rhyl. The 30 miler heads along the dual carriageway (A525) / cycle path to St. Asaph up the hill to Glascoed and the Business Park. From there it continues on the road toward Betws-yn-Rhos before turning right down the lanes towards St. George, passing the Hanson Quarry. Back toward Bodelwyddan passing the hospital and picking up the cycle path again back into Rhuddlan. From there it's along the river path into Rhyl, over the H-Bridge and skirting the Marine lake. Prom ride back to the events arena! There's a couple of nasty climbs out of St. Asaph but that's it. The rest is fairly gentle

Cheers Davy. I think I'm gonna try and do the full 30 miler even though I'm only signed up for the 15. I know that sounds a bit wet considering the distance some of the guys and gals are doing but I'm still feeling sore after last weekend.

Best bet with the offline donations is if everyone pm's me with their offline total by mid week. As there is no option to list the amounts individually it's proving to be tricky keeping a tab on the actual total. So I'll update the final offline total the middle of next week, when everyone has had a chance to get it all in. Roll on Sunday
